Community Programs

Reaching long-term conservation goals and sustainability requires the involvement of local communities. A large component of Ceiba’s mission statement is to support community-based actions that promote conservation. We promote environmental education through field courses, teacher-training, and community outreach activities. By collaborating with local communities, we are able to empower them to work towards sustainable resource management.
